For Beginner Road Biking: Town Lake hike-and-bike trail and the Veloway (located near Loop 1 and La Crosse Avenue in far South Austin).  Both are circular loops.

For Intermediate Road BikingLoop 360 (between Westlake Drive and U.S. 183) or RM 620.  Be aware of cars driving by very fast.  Ride with traffic and drink plenty of water.

For Intermediate Mountain Bike Riding: St. Edwards Park (just west of Loop 360 on Spicewood Springs Road) and the Barton Springs Greenbelt.

For Advanced Mountain Bike Riding: Emma Long Metropolitan Park (on City Park Road off RM 2222).
